Salem

– Officers responded to the 100 block of Vine Avenue at 4:11 a.m. Saturday in reference to someone attempting to steal fuel. The complainant was not on scene and advised dispatch they would contact the station with footage.

– Officers responded with medical personnel to the 700 block of Arch Street at 1:35 a.m. Saturday in reference to a man yelling and having a panic attack. The man was transported to the Salem hospital.

– Officers responded to the area of North Lincoln Avenue and East Fifth Street at 9:27 p.m. Friday in reference to juveniles attempting to stop traffic. Officers searched the area but were unable to the juveniles.

– A West Wilson Street resident reported at 6:23 p.m. Friday his juvenile daughter had run away from home. The juvenile was found in the 300 block of West State Street and while being picked up by the complainant, she attempted to flee from officers. She was taken into custody and transported to the Tobin Center.

– Officers responded to Centennial Park at 5:41 p.m. in reference to a group of juveniles who were being disorderly and using profanity. Officers spoke with the juveniles and advised them they were being trespassed from the park.

– An officer responded to the 500 block of East State Street at 4:28 p.m. Friday in reference to a elderly man who urinated on the door mat in front of a business. The man was advised not to return to the business and was given a ride home due to his intoxication level.

– Officers responded to the 400 block of West Wilson Street at 4:17 p.m. Friday in reference to a juvenile running through a parking lot visibly upset. Officers spoke with the juvenile who said that her father had struck her. Officers then spoke with her father who said that the juvenile was grounded and he had disciplined her before she ran away. The matter was turned over to children services.

– A man reported on station at 1:55 p.m. Friday that he was walking to his residence on South Lincoln Avenue the previous night when multiple men in a van pulled him into the vehicle and he woke up somewhere near Hanoverton. He said he walked back home. An investigation is pending.

– Officers responded to the 400 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 1:16 p.m. Friday in reference to a property dispute in which a man wanted to gather belongings from a home and a woman would not let him. Both individuals were advised it was a civil matter, at which time the man became argumentative and left.

East Liverpool

– An officer took a report from a female at the police station on May 10 at 9:31 a.m. The female said a package had been stolen off her porch at 650 E. 4thSt.

– Officers were dispatched on May 10 at 3:16 p.m. to 258 Wilbert St. to remove a move from the premises.

– On May 10 at 1:30 p.m. an officer spoke to a female by phone who reported that her son was being threatened by other juveniles through text messages. The officers advised the mother to provide the messages to officers and charges would be pursued. The female said she has to get the message from her son. As of May 14, officers have not received the messages.

– An officer was dispatched on May 10 at 9:33 p.m. to the East End Wash and Dry where the owner wanted to report a male who rode his electric bike inside the laundromat. The male has been told before not to do that. The owner was informed to call the police when he was at the laundromat to have him trespassed.

– On May 10 at 9:43 p.m. dispatch told officers there was drug activity at 431 Orchard Grove. The caller reported a lot of traffic coming and going and they use their driveway for a turnaround. The officer contacted the owner at the reported residence and he denied everything. The owner said he had several friends over and that was the reason for the vehicles and that he and his neighbors have been feuding and that is why they are making complaints against him. The officer attempted to call the person making the complaint but did not reach them.

– On May 10 at 8:23 p.m., a female came to the police station to make a report about a sexual assault.

– Officers received a call to 312 Blakely St. on May 10 at 3:17 p.m. for a mother arguing with her son's girlfriend and wanted her to leave for the night. Officers stood by while the female gathered her things.

– Officers were dispatched to Dairy Queen on May 11 at 11:16 a.m., for a person who passed out inside a vehicle. Officers spoke to the person who said they were traveling and stopped to rest.

– On May 11 at 12:43 p.m., officers were dispatched to 419 Market St. for a possible deceased male. Upon gaining entry to the residence officers discovered a deceased male who had been there for days. After investigating, officers learned the male had recently been discharged from the hospital and seemed to have passed from natural causes. North Star EMS arrived and contacted the Columbiana County coroner.
