Target's car seat trade
Target's popular child car seat trade-in event is back and underway through the end of the month.
Participants get a 20% off coupon for a new seat, stroller and other child products when they trade in their old car seat with the retailer, it announced on its website.
Damaged or expired seats are eligible and the promo, which kicked off Sunday, ends on April 29.
Coupons, which are added to the Target app, can be applied to both in-store and online purchases.
Coupons are eligible through May 13.
Target introduced its first car seat trade-in program in April 2016.
Materials from the old car seats will be recycled by Target's partners to create new products such as pallets, plastic buckets and construction materials such as steel beams and carpet padding, according to the retailer.
Since the program started, the retailer said, more than 2 million car seats have been recycled.
